  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9×13 baking pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it lightly.
  2. In a stand mixer bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; allow to proof for 2–5 minutes until bubbly.
  3. Add vegetable oil, salt, egg, and flour (one cup at a time). Mix until combined and knead for about 4 minutes.
  4. Shape the dough into 15 balls and place them in the prepared baking dish; cover with a dish towel to rise.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while the dough rises.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Brush with melted butter before serving.
