  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons warm water
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. In a bowl, mix all honey garlic sauce ingredients.
  2. Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat; add vegetable oil and one tablespoon of butter. Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Push chops to one side of the skillet, add the remaining butter, sauté garlic briefly, then pour in the honey sauce. Cook until thickened.
