  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 500 g Fresh Broccoli (chopped)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 8 oz Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • 16 oz Ditalini Pasta
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onion; sauté until translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in chopped broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes until tender yet vibrant green.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, then add shredded mozzarella cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Cook ditalini pasta according to package instructions; reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water to achieve desired creaminess.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle grated parmesan over the pasta, and stir until incorporated.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parmesan if desired.
