  • 3 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll sheets
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (113 g), softened
  • 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 3 cups mild cheddar cheese (339 g), shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic and chives; stir in 2 cups of cheddar cheese.
  3. Roll out one tube of crescent dough on a clean surface, pinching seams together; spread filling over it.
  4. Roll tightly into a log and slice into 6 pieces; place each in a greased muffin tin.
  5. Repeat for remaining dough tubes.
  6. Mix melted butter with garlic and chives; brush over cruffins and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown; allow to cool slightly before serving.
