  • 1 pound smoked sausage (halal-certified)
  • 4 cups baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (halal-certified)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: sour cream and fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and cut baby potatoes into halves or quarters for even cooking.
  3. Slice smoked sausage into ¼-inch rounds.
  4. In a bowl, mix ranch seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. Coat the potatoes in olive oil and half of the seasoning mixture.
  6. Spread potatoes on a lined baking sheet and add sliced sausage on top.
  7. Roast in the oven for 35-40 minutes until golden brown, stirring halfway through.
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle cheese over the top, and return to cook until melted (about 5 minutes).
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot with sour cream if desired.
