Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 egg (or 1/2 cup buttermilk)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

1. Slice chicken thinly or pound flat

2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch and spices

3. Dip chicken in egg or buttermilk

4. Dredge in seasoned cornstarch

5. Heat oil to 350°F

6. Fry chicken slices 2-3 minutes per side

7. Drain on wire rack, serve hot
