  • 1 cup warm water (about 110°F)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Stir in flour, salt, and olive oil until the dough forms; knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough with a towel; allow it to rise in a warm place for 45–60 minutes until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and transfer it to the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle garlic and Italian seasoning on top; add mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Slice into sticks and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
