  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
  • 14 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 32 oz chicken broth
  • 6 oz lasagna noodles, broken into small pieces
  • 1 cup frozen spinach
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • Ricotta cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown 1 lb ground beef in a large pot over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in 3 minced garlic cloves, 1/2 chopped onion, and spices (garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried oregano, kosher salt, and pepper). Cook for 5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add 14 oz crushed tomatoes, 32 oz chicken broth, 1 cup water, and broken lasagna noodles. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes until noodles are tender.
  5. Stir in 1 cup frozen spinach and 1/4 cup cream; simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with mozzarella and ricotta cheese on top.
