  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 jalapeño pepper, finely diced
  • 1 orange pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: slice chicken breasts and vegetables (onion, orange pepper, jalapeño), mince garlic, and shred cabbage.
  2. In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add chicken strips seasoned with salt and pepper; stir-fry until cooked through and lightly browned (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion for approximately 3 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and jalapeño; cook for an additional minute.
  4. Stir in shredded cabbage and diced orange pepper; cook until cabbage is tender-crisp (5-7 minutes).
  5. Pour in chicken stock, oyster sauce, and soy sauce; mix well to coat vegetables evenly.
  6. Return cooked chicken to the skillet; combine everything and heat through for another 2-3 minutes before serving.
