  • 1 ½ pounds skinless boneless chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika
  • Curry powder
  • Garam masala
  • Cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with salt, garlic powder, paprika, curry powder, and Greek yogurt for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook marinated chicken until browned on all sides (5-7 minutes), then remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic and diced onion until translucent.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, black pepper, heavy cream, cayenne pepper (if desired), garam masala, and curry powder.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet; mix well and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes until tender.
