Spaghetti Garlic Bread Bowls are a fun and hearty twist on the classic spaghetti dinner that your family and friends will love.   • 200g spaghetti
  • 6 crusty white rolls
  • 500g ground beef
  • 500g tomato passata
  • 100g mozzarella cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves (plus more for butter mixture)
  • Fresh basil and parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, sauté finely diced onion until golden brown, then add diced garlic and ground beef until browned. Stir in tomato puree.
  2. Add red wine and let it reduce before mixing in tomato passata, beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, herbs, sugar, and seasonings. Simmer for about 25 minutes until thickened.
  3. Prepare the bread bowls by cutting tops off rolls and hollowing out centers. Mix melted butter with garlic paste and parsley, then brush inside and outside of rolls.
  4. Cook spaghetti al dente according to package instructions; toss it with the sauce mixture.
  5. Fill each hollowed roll with spaghetti and top generously with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes until crispy and cheese is melted.
