  • 20 gyozas (or potstickers)
  • 4 garlic cloves, grated
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (14 oz) unsweetened coconut milk
  • 3 tbsp Thai red curry paste
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • Optional: Chopped chives and your favorite vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil for the dumplings.
  2. In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and sauté grated garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add chicken broth and coconut milk to the pot, then stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, toasted sesame oil, brown sugar, Thai red curry paste, and lime juice. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Cook gyozas in boiling water according to package directions (about 2-3 minutes), then drain.
  5. Serve the dumplings in bowls and pour the hot coconut soup over them, garnishing with chives or vegetables as desired.
